Weekenders is the Photography Club associated with ShutterXpose in the State of Kuwait.
The club was formed in 2011 by a few like-minded photographer friends with the aim of capturing images over the weekend and sharing their technical expertise to novice and amateurs on various aspects during photo shoot visits. Over the years Weekenders have gained popularity as one of Kuwait’s premier Photography club. The vision of the club has been to Promote, Educate and Inspire Photographers by conducting various workshops and photo shoots in different genres of Photography to pursue their passion. The group also invites Professional Photographers both local and International to impart their knowledge and experiences to their members.
Guruprasad Hegde
A Mechanical Designer by profession he is an avid passionate professional photographer, photo educator, traveler and adventurist. He conducts photography workshops in Kuwait and has been a guest speaker in various Photography clubs in India, his work has been appreciated, acknowledged and published by Scholastic Publishing House (New York). He is a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Photography Society of America (PSA) & The Royal Photography Society (RPS)
He is the brain child of Weekender Photography Club. His photographic work concerns the whole range of topics from natural landscapes to cityscapes and from still life to Bird and Wildlife. He is available for commercial assignments.
Prashanth Shetty Agari
A professional photographer who loves creativity, he believes in capturing beautiful off-beat and candid moments. Prashanth had been quite instrumental during the early formation of the club, he has now moved to Mangalore leaving his full time job in Kuwait and to focus on his passion in Photography. It’s his passion and love for light and glamour which has earned him as a reputable professional Wedding Photographer in the region.
He currently runs a Photo studio and takes on commercial photography assignments.
Dr. Yogeesh Jayaramu Tumkur
A doctorate by profession, he is a nature and landscape photographer with a good knowledge and interest in astronomy and astrophotography. He has been forefront and quiet instrumental in the uplift of the club.
Dr. Vinod Kumar
A research scientist by profession working in Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research (KISR) is a talented artist and a creative photographer. A passionate nature photographer, he loves to travel and capture the essence of the place and the scenic beauty.
Sanath Ramesh
An Environmental Engineer by profession, he is an unconventional nature lover and a landscape photographer who tries to portray frames in his unique dimension. He loves to travel and photograph the beauty around.
