Serbia is a country located in the Balkans, in southeast Europe and surrounded by Montenegro to the southwest, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west, Bulgaria to the southeast, Croatia to the northwest, Hungary to the north, North Macedonia and Albania to the south, and Romania to the northeast. As part of Weekenders Travel photography we visited Serbia in the summer (July) of 2022. We visited the capital Belgrade and the western serene mountain region Zlatibor as part of our travel exploration. The country is on the crossroads of European history and as such it's a mix of cultures, ethnicity and religions. The country is beautiful and generally people are warm.
